Membership composition

The Association brings together individuals connected to Georgia who have completed degrees or long-term academic programs at world-leading universities, including but not limited to:

  • 50 universities ranked within the top tiers of global rankings (QS, THE, ARWU);
  • Members of globally recognized elite programs (e.g., Schwarzman, Rhodes, Gates Cambridge, Fulbright, etc.);
  • Graduates of specialized institutions recognized internationally for excellence.

 

Membership includes:

  • Full Members – Georgian citizens or permanent residents who are graduates of top-ranked international universities.
  • Associate Members – Non-Georgian graduates of leading universities who contribute to academic, scientific, economic, or cultural cooperation involving Georgia.
  • Honorary Members – Distinguished individuals recognized for exceptional contributions to education, research, diplomacy, innovation, or the advancement of Georgia.

Membership eligibility and admission

 Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet at least one of the following:

  1. Hold a degree from a top-tier global university (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Professional Degree).
  2. Have completed significant academic or research fellowships at leading global institutions (at least one semester).
  3. Demonstrate a connection to Georgia through citizenship, residency, professional activity, or recognized contribution to Georgia’s development.
  4. For Associate Members: demonstrate active engagement in advancing Georgia’s international cooperation in education, research, innovation, business, or public policy.

Admission process

  1. Application submission including academic credentials, CV, and short motivation statement.
  2. Verification of degree and institutional affiliation by the Membership Committee.
  3. Approval by the Executive Board or designated membership panel.
  4. Official induction and inclusion in the Association’s internal directory and networks.

Membership is granted based on merit, academic excellence, and demonstrated commitment to the Association’s mission.
